Founded in the late 19th century to promote good design practices in the Berkeley hills, the Hillside Club
today is a community-based membership organization dedicated to supporting the arts and culture and preserving our landmark building.
We invite you to explore our club history, events, and membership information, and consider renting our
facility to host your event. Our hall is wheelchair accessible and our restrooms are ADA compliant.
UPCOMING EVENTS

Berkeley Arts & Letters Returns to the Hillside Club on July 8th with an in-person event with The New Yorker staff writer and "national treasure" (Rachel Maddow) Patrick Radden Keefe for his new book Rogues: True Stories of Grifters, Killers, Rebels and Crooks. He'll be joined in conversation by New York Times Magazine contributor Jonah Weiner. Tickets available online
