Sitting around the fire drinking a huge Cabernet may be fine for the cold months, but Summer calls for lighter fare. In particular, red wines from Mediterranean countries can be delightful on a hot day --- think Beaujolais from France, Tempranillo from Spain, Nebbiolo or Sangiovese from Italy --- or the domestic equivalent. If the day is really hot we may even serve some of them slightly chilled (no, that's not sacrilege). The cost will be $25 for members and $30 for non-members.
